Beautiful......just beautiful!

            And you reminded me, i have learned so many things in the last few years. One of them, being.....(don't laugh)....but you reminded me that i need to practice, so i can one day whistle a whole song. I just learned how to whistle over a year ago....my then, i think 5 yr old grandaughter taught me) ...i just need to learn how to make the different tones. You just don't know how much of an accomplishment i think this is. And it all goes back to my grandaughter, Hannah.

        I also learned this year, that the Elk looses it's antlers in the Fall, and then they grow back ....i didn't know this. So i took Hannah down a country road, not too long ago to see the elk, and they didn't have any antlers....lol. I had explained to her that the females were on the right side of the road & the males were on the left side, and that you could tell the male's because they had antlers. You can just imagine our eyes squinting to see an antler....lol..and then there they were, these 'sponge stubs' ...so i came home & looked it up on the puter & sent a pic of an elk with the antlers & also the info so she can read about it.

          It's amazing that you can still learn stuff at my age
