| The word is that an Engan policeman was involved. It is systematic genocide just like in Rwanda although not yet on a large scale. The highlanders are getting their payback thru the task force.

Ward councilor killed in Lae
THE councilor of Ward 13 in Ahi Local Level Government in Lae is the eighth person to be killed since youths, dominated by Morobeans, took to the streets to protest lawlessness in the city.
Councilor Wanjo Bokam’s corpse was found floating in the Busu River by some settlers who were crossing the river to get to their gardens on the other side of the river bank, at around midday yesterday.
The councilor’s family stated that he was picked up by police for questioning in relation to protest and rioting, and did not return home, only for them to learn that he was found dead.
“He was picked up by Task Force,” a family member alleged.
The councilor received severe injuries to his head from blunt objects and his skull at the top his head was smashed and this may have caused his death, before his body was dumped into the Busu River.
A Morobe youth leader said all the deaths, the rioting and burning down of properties along the Bek Rot and other areas would not have occurred if Lae police had done the right and proper thing to police the streets of Lae in the first place.
He said police and all the political leaders in Morobe province at both national and provincial levels and Morobe Provincial Government turned a blind eye to what was actually happening under their noses.
“These people that we wanted to get rid of were selling their wares and mugging innocent and law abiding citizens just across from the Lae Central Police Station and the Morobe Provincial Government and Administration,” he said. He said these Government agencies are to be blamed for what has happened and the indiscrimination shooting of the police caused mayhem.
He said the street sellers and thugs were harassing people right in front of the doorsteps of government authorities and police and very little was done to deter these thugs.
“When we organised the youths to protest and cleanup Lae, they came and cornered us at Malahang and indiscriminately fired into our crowd of people that was marching up to Top Town.”
He said there was no provocation and intimidation from them or their group to warrant police to shoot at them, resulting in the death of two youths and more than 30 people receiving gunshot wounds wounds, with pellets embedded in their bodies.
He said the youths in anger, turned around and started burning any properties that belonged to Highlanders.
“Our youths were provoked by the indiscriminate shootings of the police,” he said.
He said what everyone in the city wanted was peace and good order in Lae City but nobody was bold as they are to stand up for what is right,” he said. “Now we have police patrolling Bumayong and Bek Rot, day and night, why didn’t they do that at Eriku, Main Market or do foot beats around Top Town.”
He said by doing these things, killings and destruction to properties would have been avoided very easily. He said the killing of the councilor is very suspicious because he was alleged to have been picked by police for questioning and the next, was found dead, floating in the Busu River. Meanwhile, NGO medical group, Doctors with no Border or Medecins Sans Frontiers have set up field clinic at Bumayong to treat many of the people that had received gunshot wounds.

Now you understand.
Highlanders have won.
You have lost.
Don't try ever again to kick highlanders out of Lae again.
If you do, the next time may be a lot worse.
