The Iraq conflict has forced the cancellation of a planned visit to Papua New Guinea by Indonesia's Foreign Minister.
PNG Foreign Affairs Minister Sir Rabbie Namaliu says Dr Hassan Wirajuda's visit was due to start tomorrow but has been deferred.
Sir Rabbie says while the Minister's visit has been cancelled, high-level talks between Indonesian and PNG officials scheduled for this weekend are going ahead as planned.
He says it is hoped the ministerial talks under the PNG Indonesia Joint Commission can take place later this year.
