PNG High Commission Office in Canberra stinks with Corrupt Officials

December 5 2005 at 9:46 AM
PNG Observer

-
Charles Lepani (PNG High Commissioner) to Australia and his deputy (Joe Nobetau) are making the Canberra High Commission Office a laughing stalk.

Mr Joe Nobetau's irresponsible and dumb action in taking a lady to the Office during night and having sex with her is clearly pathetic.

Charles Lepani's engagement of an Australian to deal with PNG's cricial security and defence matters plus his awarding of indepedence awards to his his personal associates is a sham.

They need to be recalled back to PNG and replaced with decent and other qualified PNG citizens who will serve the country with a sense of accountability and respect.

I condemn this too

I fully agree with my fellow PNGean here. What a big shame. They are representing the whole of PNG and what are they doing out there? So much negative things is heard about PNG and please if they are true sons of PNG, do all our best and tell the world that we are GOOD people,a GOOD country. What a shame for me and fellow PNGeans living abroad.

We should all condemn this stupid act and recall them home if we are true sons and daughters of our beautiful country

How about the latest re Joe?

If there is any truth in the NAtional Paper(13/12/05) re some guys in the company of Joe bashing the BPNG Deputy Governor Benny P and Joe abusing his immunity by driving away the bashers.. what a joke. Do this diplomat staff think they are indispensable, about time the Foreign Affairs Dept sack them all and appoint new one. There are more very intelligent PNGs out there.
