Everything happends for a reason, if Mrs Elias was removed from her position, I think this could be the following reasons;
(1) She must have not being performing(reporting, meetings, contributing positively and etc.)
(2) She is at the age of retirement
(3) Misusing state property
If these are the criteria of her dismissal, then I think it is justified. But if there is none, I believe something FISHY is going on within the system. I believe someone is trying to put his/her WANTOK in the system. Yupela save pinis, its PNG, its whom you KNOW, not what you know, experience, qualifications.
I believe, there are women in PNG who can perform but the problem is those who are in authority are still way behind in understanding of equality in these days.
Encouragement to women who are pursuing in studies, work and career, don’t give up, there are unseen opportunities that that are coming which our own country cannot even give, look beyond the clouds, there is always are way out.
