Meri Wau Does Not Need Advice from Little, Wet-Behind-The-Ear Children

Ok, listen up children,

I am quite amazed to read all these "advice" given to Meri Wau especially after she lost her candidacy. She did not stand for the elections because she had no money, properties, investments, business interests and she wanted to use the position to attain those. She has a real desire to make a change and do things to improve the lives of people of Bulolo. The people Bulolo decided not to elect her. Well, that was the people's decision and Meri Wau respects it. I do not think she is losing sleep over it. Meri Wau's personal life will not suffer because of the loss. She still has her money, properties, investments, business interests, and her family.

But the problem with all these so-called advice is that they have no value/substance at all. This is especially so when they are coming from small children who can not speak and write proper english and who have no proven life-experience in leadership either in the formal sector or business sector. From where I sit, I can see that the bunch of you wet-behind-the-ears would do well to respect the lady for who she is and seek advice from her on matters that relate to work, business and your young lives. In the PNG society our elders (parents, grandparents, and people much older in age) are respected and they are never talked down upon and argued with. Young people do not have any standing to give advice to elders who have lived through life. It works the other way around. We should always keep in mind and observe our culture when we talk with people who are our elders regardless of who the person is.
