Meri Wau, you have a genuine point, yes I am a Male and I am sharing my thoughts with you as a PNG women. Secondly; sex tourism applies to both genders, thirdly its not about removing girls off the streets! Its about everyone now engaged in the sex industry and those that are pressured into it without their will but the current circumstance allows for it to come up about. From streets to the schools and into the bed rooms of married couple, its happening and we cant deny it. It is also not for females only, males are paid to sleep with women, are we all blind? Even it hurts to point out the issue we need to be mature enough to understand issues that cause this to pop up. Does that answer your question?
Thanks 7 I sure you see the big picture.
Observer 13 has a very valid point. However, I am sure we can still facilitate for this industry, if we change our attitudes and have some respect for our fellow citizen. Regardless, its our mentality that is hindering our progress and advancement in life. Lets not treat women as sex objects, or things that you can buy and discard at will.
Only than you will realize where my point lies. I am cautious of the Christian values, moral values and our customs. But we need to adjust to the progress and put in mechanisms and systems to address our current dire needs for advancement and progress towards the next millennium. In order to crub the HIV Aids and our economic woes, we need this industry to assist.
The Governor will continue his comment on the topic this Thursday. Grab a PC and we will continue from there. Or in here it does not matter atleast we can talk straight langauge without any censorship, as we all have a point to air here! I like straight talk and maybe those big guns may drop in here to see our views expressed. Gdnyth 2 you all, cheers. KongoMX6
