Should pornography be legalized in Papua New Guinea? It is readily available despite its illegality, see for example xxxx. The advent of modern technology, particular digital picture and video cameras, has now made the production of pornography a simple matter and with computers, the internet and email, it can be costlessly and rapidly reproduced and disseminated widely.
Do you think that liberalizing our censorship laws (ie making porn legal) would lead to an increase in sexual crimes and sex discrimination? Or perhaps the opposite would happen an increase in the availability of hard-core pornographic material would lead to a reduction in sexual crimes.
Only serious discussion please.
