What do you think: Is there any possibility to get one like this?

Don´t tell me I have to go with the "Dato", because I really like the pulse meter and the understatement of the 1815 line.

Dont´t get me wrong, I really like the design of the "Dato", but I think I am to young to wear one.

And I must say I really like white metal watches with black dial

Movement basically the same

but without the the big date "module"

Some think that thte 1815 is actually a more "traditional" looking chrono (arabic numbers, no date)...... i still prefer the Dato but only in RG/SD!

Although I forgot how to decipher the Lange-code ...

I am prety sure that the L951.0 driving the 1815CHR is an earlier creation then the engine that lets the Dato´s hands rotate (L951.1)

I´d agree that the 1815 is a more traditional watch with its arabics vs. romans (and stick markers) and lacking a date display ... nevertheless I prefer the PT Dato.

Has nothing to do with popularity

or with which is the more classic looking chrono.

I find the Dato the better looking watch, the more functional watch (with big date), and an icon of the Lange brand.

It is my personal taste (certainly with a lot of intangibles), but the Dato is high on my wish list and the 1815 chrono is not even close.
