on the use of the FE in the Cobras. Whe its all said and done in a max effort the 385 will make more power bottom line. The #1 reason is cylinder head selection. The FE does not have the head to make it compete in an all out effort. There is NO HEAD that has the ability to flow or support upwards of 1000+ hp. Nmae one head that will support those numbers. Flow #'s coming in at 500int/350exh. The shortblocks wether an FE or 385 are just airpumps. Its all in cylinder heads. This is why I will continue to argue that the 385 will ALWAYS make more power. Its simple its not rocket science. Bring the baddest FE you can find and it will ultimately be limited to a certain extent cause of the Heads. Why does no one understand this.???????????????
