Hello all, I know from past encounters that this is the place for reliable FE information.
What I have is a 428 that is .040" overbore with .010" milled off of the decks, the heads I am using are C6AE-R also with .010" milled off of them,
(what is the CC size of the combustion chambers to these heads?)
The pistons that I may use are a set of silvolite stock compression .040" over.
The crankshaft that I am using is a stock stroke of 3.984"
What is the compression of a stock 428 engine and how much will the milling of the decks and heads increase the compression?
If I use this set up will it run without knocking on pump gas?
