I have a 1967 Ford Fairlane 427 "R" Code and the shock towers do not have the holes you are talking about. Could it have only been on a few fairlanes? I bought and raced this Fairlane new in 1967. Any idea as to what they are worth today? I wish I hadn't thrown so many of the factory parts away. Heck, I wish I hadn't sold my 64 Tbolts, had two of them. Had a 69 Boss 429 Mustang and sold it after Ford told me to. Wish I had kept all of those 427 engines, transmissions, camshafts, and about 20 Detroit Lockers.
But who knew back then...
