I'm trying to get some real world feedback on the C3AZ-K cam. Crane has a repop by the part number 340321 which they claim is an C3az-AA replacement (don't think so) and lunati lists a 20501 (also their AA replacement). What were the characteristcs of the original K cam; idle power band, vaccum ? We were originally looking at the factory C3AZ-AA cam but I noticed that the K cam had a little more duration than the AA cam. Also if anyone is running an original AA cam I'd like to here about that one too. I vaguely remember my Mom's '66 galaxy with 428PI but don't remember enough to make an evaluation, I do remember Dad having to jerk the valve covers off and, as I know now, set lash about once every six months or so. Armed with that I will assume it was the AA cam. I was only 4 when she traded it in in 1968. I do remember her opening it up for me a few times and how much it mashed me back in the seat, Mom was cool!
