I am currently in the process of putting an EFI set-up together for my 61 T-bird with a 390 FE. The first thing you've got to know is that EFI ain't cheap. There are several sources for complete systems to bolt on, here are a few:

Of course, you're going to have to have at least $5000 to spend to get these set-ups. Not cheap. I, myself am going to piece together my own system. I am starting with a Weber intake from Mooneyes.com . From there, you have several choices. You can look on ebay for Weber carbs to have converted over to EFI or google Weber or Hilborn and get the injector stacks to fit it.
With mine, I am having a local guy weld up some aluminum cross-ram runners, putting a set of throttle bodies I bought off ebay on the ends, and having the intake plumbed by Kevin Thomson at
http://hotrodsolutions.net/index.html . He does excellent work and he's very reasonable to do EFI conversions. I recommend his work. It still isn't cheap, but at least it isn't costing me $5 grand. I wish you luck with your own EFI searches and don't get discouraged, it can be done on a budget.
