Maybe this will help. I bought my 64 Galaxie for $1300 dollars. When I was filling up on the return trip from Shasta California a guy asked me if I was taking the car to the wrecking yard. Thats what mine looked like!! With help from friends I did everything myself except upholstry, mufflers, tail pipes and short block. After all the dust had settled I had spent 20K more plus than minus! Can I sell it for that I think so but Tovio is right how do you get back the hundreds of hours getting your baby just right? Wouldn't want to the hobby part is why I did it I really get enjoyment out of driving a car( NOT Perfect) but its mine!! If that Fairlane is in your blood you probably ought to buy it as they're getting far a few of them around at any price!!
