Tyring to help a friend I.D. some heads, see his message below. Thanks

"I picked up a nice pair of FE heads but the casting numbers are unfarmiliar. (575-2143) anyone ever heard of these heads? Someone told me they are 1958 332 heads, but they have huge ports and 2.03" intakes so I seriously doubt these came on a 1958 332. I compared them to an old set of 428 heads and the difference in port size is very noticable. These heads have much larger ports. Most FE heads have numbers like C80E-XXXX-X. Any help identifying these would be apreciated. Date code is (D16)"

yep, those are 59/59 heads. 332 or 352 is the most likely application.

That port size was pretty much standard on all FE's until 67 when the newer smaller high velocity port was introduced accross the board. The heads are good door stops. Hawkrod
