| My question is can i run my 390 with flat top pistons, and 12:5:1 compression and premium unleaded gas without predetonation. thanks for any info.

Why do you think you will have 12.5 with flat tops? Should be more like 9.2 or so. Anyhow that kind of compression would not work with premium even with octane booster. You won't net very much more power with that added compresion anyways.
