Ok, I know this is an engine forum, but, I thought all you FE boys could help me out.I have a 1968 Mercury Montclair Fastback, I have warmed up the 390, cam (.530 lift/290 dur), headers, carb y'all get the picture, with an auto C-6. Now the question is what gears do y'all think I should run? I dont want a drag car,lets face it the Merc is way to heavy, but I would like some low end with that Ford top end.Any thoughts?
