Has anybody fitted a Tremec TKO600 Trans into a 63.5 Mercury Marauder or a 63/63 Galaxie ?? I was trying to find out if it will clear the floor as the Mercury I have is a real cherry car & it would be such a shame to modify it too much.

I put a T56 in my 60 Starliner. Given the height of these are similar, thought not exactly the same (I believe the tremec is a not quite as tall), you can expect to do some cutting of the tranny tunnel. I basically clamshelled mine, welded in a strip and sealed it, You couldn't tell it had been done when I got finished, but the tunnel was a little taller.
