I have a 62 T-bird that I am updating a bit to make it safer and run better. What I am trying to do is install 66 T-bird front suspension and disc brakes on it. I have the parts, but my question is where do I get a 2-bay master cylinder that will fit this application? The old single bay master just won't cut it with the disc-drum combo. Also, I want to change out the generator for a more modern alternator, any suggestions and info will be greatly appreciated.

Can you use the MC from the donor car? You mave have to use the later booster also. The donor will also give you all the valving and line routing info.
HIGH MOUNT ALT
LOW MOUNT ALT
I believe you will want the LOW MOUNT and the 65/66 actually uses this system and might be easier to find (with correct ALT, REG and charging harness).

Thanks for the suggestions. The diagrams and pictures are especially helpful. The master cylinder from the 66 T-bird, however, is the same single-bay style that is on the car now. I'm guessing that I'm going to have to use one from something more modern, such as a mid-seventies Lincoln or maybe a Granada. I'm just not sure if they will fit without major mods.

I am looking for the PCV system from an early 1962/63 221/260 SBF that had the oil filler tube in the front cover and the PCV valve mounted on the rear of the intake. I would like it complete if possible, in pieces otherwise;
1) Front Cover And Tube
2) 4V Intake Manifold
3) Complete PCV Hookup On Rear Of Intake
4) Smooth Closed Rocker Covers

Just thinking. If the donor brakes are from a 1966, why not use a dual master cylinder from a 67 BIRD (if it will fit the booster)(this is what I meant to say first go-around) and that should give you the correct piston size to properly operate the changeover? I assume you took the valving and tube routing from the 1966?
His block will not work with the alternator brackets you posted if it is original. 1963 was the first year blocks had holes in the front for the alternator bolt so you have to make a small bracket that goes from the side bolt hole around teh front to catch the bolt and shorten the spacer. You also can't use a top mount alternator so you have to find a lower adjustment arm. For a master cylinder a late 60's F100 works great but dual master cylinders conflict with the shock tower support brace. Look at my Tbird page in my Superford link below to see both swaps. I am aware of that. The change was 62 to 63 wasn't it?. Can that ear be drilled and tapped to accept the later mounting bolt? Your installation shows the bolt off somewhat. Is your mounting bracket C3SE 10156-B?
Here is a ready made bracket if they will sell it separately from the kit;
I have also read where a dual master cylinder will interfere with the support. Did the later BIRD ever use a remote vacuum reservoir like the earlier BIRDS?
62 and older blocks don't have anything there. If you drill a hole you will hit water. In 63 they revised the blocks to include the mounting boss but they were not drilled on all cars, only those that had alternators (Tbirds for example). Starting in 65 all blocks had the hole drilled and tapped. Hawkrod
