I come to the experts for advice. I have a 69 stang with a original 390 big input toploader which I want to change to a fe c6. I have a 68 stang 390 fe c6. I want to run a reverse valve body and 2.8k converter.

Ok the questions are what aftermarket shifter will work with a factory console, can I use my existing driveshaft, use the man. speedo cable with auto gear change and what crossmember will work? I have a 428 flexplate coming as the motor is a 428cj, 220 @.050 deg hyd cam. I have a 500rwhp 03 cobra if I want to shift. Any advice would be appreciated, need to get it on the road. Here's a picture.

You can use the same driveshaft. You'll have to use a different crossmember for the C6. I got one from Mustangs Unlimited
