I have a customer who would like to have me build him a 428 for his 63 4 speed Galaxie. The car has a tired 390 right now and of course I need to use the 4 speed flywheel etc. Rather than try to find one for a 428 I'm thinking I'll just balance the crank internally.

The core engine I have is a PI 428 than appears to have the normal non SCJ crankshaft etc. From my understanding those only had a balance weight at the rear and if that's true approx. how much heavy metal should I plan on using? Is it 250grams or more? In the back of the crank only or the front too?
