Hi there

Got a brand new built 428 engine.

For the moment there is an AOD conversion kit on it but i will remove it and put a regular C6 transmission to the engine.
The AOD flexplate has balance weight welded to it.

So i figure the engine must be external balanced?

When buying a C6 flexplate is there several different flexplates to chose from to the engine?

I only have experiance of smallblock 28oz and 50oz flexplates

What about 428 flexplates?

i work and balance these motors. there is only one c6 flywheel for the 428cj.
when i deal with a aod for a small block ford, the convertor bolt pattern for the c6 & the aod is the same. so this means you should be able to order a c6 428 fe flexplate & bolt aod convertor up. any questions let me know.
