FAMAS Replacement

The French are looking for a new rifle, the candidates are:
-FN SCAR
-HK416 (1800 already bought)

The evaluations will take place early 2010. It must also be said that the French are already using HK416 in limited numbers in Afghanistan and by a lot of French SF. Also note that the Félin program uses the FAMAS as its assault rifle. The FAMAS has earned itself a bad reputation due to inadequate ammunition (manufactured outside France).
