We welcome our North Korean to join the peaceful Olympic and to compete with the rest of world nations; along we welcome today, Olympic lantern are now being sent to the base camp of Mount Everest! I have just learned that, Chinese Olympic Lantern is now at the base camp of Mount Everest.
But, these above two events are just minor peaceful pursuit; today, China and Taiwan are on the historical road to open up the direct link from China into Taiwan! This would be the most important step where mainland Chinese can goes into Taiwan, or for Taiwanese to enter into China!
This is the best promotion of peace to human kinds and to reunified Taiwan back to the motherland!
To this Chinese glorious and peaceful pursuit, the World salute you Celestial China!
Nepal bans reporting from Everest

The government of Nepal has expelled the BBC from the base camp on the Nepalese side of Mount Everest.
The Nepalese authorities have imposed a complete communication ban on journalists from the base camp upwards.
The move comes as the Chinese prepare to take the Olympic torch up their side of the mountain.
The torch is ascending on the Chinese controlled Tibetan side of the mountain where it is being reported on by local and foreign journalists.
Just a short while after arriving in Everest base camp we were politely but firmly told to leave by an official from Nepal's ministry of tourism.
'Friend China'
We knew there were restrictions on video cameras and satellite phones but were now told even pre-recorded radio material on non-political subjects would not be allowed.
Nor would chats with mountaineers.
"We are doing this for our friend China," the official said.
China has been leaning on Nepal to prevent any possible disruption to the Everest leg of the Olympic torch relay due soon.
The flame is not coming anywhere near the Nepal base camp but an American man with a pro-Tibet flag was sent down from the camp last week and China is worried.
Its ambassador visited the camp a few days ago with Nepalese soldiers who have been given the right to use force if necessary against disruptors of the torch.
With the upper parts of the mountain closed until the torch has been and gone, base camp is teeming with frustrated mountaineers unable to make the high sorties they need to acclimatise before their final attempts on Everest and its neighbour Lhotse.

I don't knows what the future hold for the World; but today at least, China have respected all nations and trades with all nations as equal! This is the foundation of respect that would bring about the New World Orders!
Unlike the West, China does not impose her wills into other nations; and believes that each of other nations are mature and have the ability resolves their own problems! This is the firm foundation of Chinese views of other nations! As long as this Chinese view hold and respected; I don't see why China would violates other nations ....... thus, China growth will only increase world stability and promote peace and trades!

The reason China never tried to impose its will on a worldwide scale is that it was unable to do so. Also, it wasn't in China's interests. Unfortunately, that is changing.

We dont live in angels world. States, esp superpowers like China, USA, Russia (ex-CCCP)etc care mostly about their interests. Peace or war are the options they have and they choose one or the other option whenever it suits them..Respect, morality etc are characteristics for people..collective entities like states have their own characteristics which unfortunately are veeery different...China of course doesnt go around bombing states all over the world but China doesnt have the same "area of interests" as the USA. Unfortunately, this is the history of minkind..
