Iran Curses X-Vision
May 12, 2008: The U.S. will provide Israel with a mobile X-band radar that will enable it to detect incoming ballistic missiles father away. Currently, the Israeli Green Pine radar would only detect a ballistic missile fired from Iran when the missile warhead is about two minutes from hitting a target in Israel. The X-band radar would allow the Iranian missile to be spotted when it was 5-6 minutes away, enabling the Israeli Arrow anti-missile missile to hit the Iranian warhead farther away and with greater certainty.


Israel has two batteries of Arrow missiles, and over a hundred missiles available. An Arrow battery has 4-8 launchers, and each launcher carries a six missiles in containers. The Arrow was developed to knock down Scud type missiles fired from Syria, Saudi Arabia or Iraq. The two ton Arrow is being replaced with the 1.3 ton Arrow II, which can shoot down longer range ballistic missiles fired from Iran.

Two batteries is too small amount of missiles being guided at a saturating attack ... they need more batteries and guidance radars ..

Is this new radar the one from THAAD system ... yes I belive its is the one ... another one will be placed in Turky to watch Iran to ...

What exactley have iran cursed about, what a ridiculous headline that has nothing to do with the actual article.

But then again, what could we expect from the incredibly serious , accurate and well respected strategypage.

What exactley does iran have to curse about, so far all the cursing, nagging, complaining and crying comes from Israel and USA not only everytime we obtain weaponsystems from other nations(remember the cursing and crying from Israel and Usa about the purely defensive weapon Tor-M1), but also when we develop a new system all on our own.
We cant even develop a civilian nuclear industry for the energy sector without having these mofos bitchin, cursing and crying.

2 batteries, thats at the most 16 launchers = 96 missiles
lets say they have enough to reload them once(which I doubt)
then lets assume for the sake of argument that this x-band radar would make the patriots accuracy 100% (which it obviously wont, not even close.)

Then my question is what the next step would be, after they have intercepted 192 missiles but the missiles keep raining down,

I'm afraid that koniev is right, 2 batteries is not even close to give a moderate protection,so therefore obtaining this radar system is hardly something Iran would need to curse about and nagg like the zionist crybabies do everytime Iran make some progress.

Besides , ballistic missiles are just one good card in our hand, I still believe that our greatest triumph-card is hezbollah, very cost-efficient organization, masters of intelligence gathering and surveillance, deception and sabotage, prooven loyal and succesful in combat, ready at all time, excellent element for testing of new developed or prototype weaponplatforms in combat enviroment to obtain feedback for further adjustments and calibrations to specialize for optimal effect on israeli equipment, tanks,ships etc. not to mention testing of systems for electronic warfare.

israel is the most advanced nation in the region. i really don't see why the U.S is so concerned about iran attacking, israel is more than capable of defeating them..if all else fails israel can nuke iran an open it up as a crater
