Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.
Calvin Coolidge, President of the United States 1924-1929

Those are rainbows.
Rainbows are caused by light fragmenting into it's composite colours.
So why are rainbows there? Could be plenty of reasons... energy of some kind from the Earth's magnetic field or from the movement of the plates or even a release of some kind of vapor from the ground. We dont even know whats under the surface of the planet, just people's guesses, so there could be many things in the Earth that could cause the rainbow.

Oh plz. If the US has such a weapon they would of done it on the East coast of China where most of the cities and the population are at, and the US would most likely use it on Iran's nuclear sites than on China.
