The BBC's Mike Wooldridge in Islamabad says it is understood the MI-17 helicopter had been flying back to Peshawar from the Afghan border region when the pilot put out a Mayday alert.
The helicopter then came down "in a hostile area" where it was fired upon by militants, according to officials.
Its real folks, no one in the universe can beat the warrior pashtuns! Civilisations have crumbled at their feet!! Your only hope to survive is to stay far away, heed the call of the pashtun O'infidel punjabistani!!
:D

Afghan border near Peshawar should be pretty high in altitude....How can 26 soldiers along with the pilots and equipment travel in a single Mi-17?
I maybe wrong though ,..

Well thats strange, majority of hard core militants are punjabi. From south Punjab. Check recent interview of arrested militant from Miranshah. And Pushtun leader said many time to govt, get rid of these hard core warriors, coming from south of Punjab.

Pathankot Strike
8 F-86Fs of No 19 Squadron led by Squadron Leader Sajjad Haider struck Pathankot airfield. With carefully positioned dives and selecting each individual aircraft in their protected pens for their strafing attacks, the strike elements completed a textbook operation against Pathankot. Wing Commander M G Tawab, flying one of the two Sabres as tied escorts overhead, counted 14 wrecks burning on the airfield. Among the aircraft destroyed on the ground were nearly all of the IAFs Soviet-supplied Mig-21s till then received, none of which were seen again during the War.

Dude Irkut, its the pashtuns I tell you. Unbeatable master race they are. Civilizations as great as the Soviets coudn't "subjugate" them (you only killed half a million...pffft) what hopes do the Pakistanis have. They have in them blood of Indian punjabis and also a mixture of stinking hindu blood.
They don't stand a chance against the mighty warrior pashtun hordes..ROFL.
