Iranian cleric: Ahmadinejad changed his family name to cover up his Jewish origins

Mahdi Khazaali, the son of the well known conservative cleric Ayatollah Khazaali accused Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad who calls for to wipe of Israel from the Middle East map of having Jewish origins.

Khazaali, whose father is known for supporting the President, asserted that the present family name of the Iranian leader Ahmadinejad was changed on his nationalization application to cover his Jewish origins, adding that the Presidents origins go back to whom he described the circle of money and power in reference to the jews.

Iranian chief of staff General Hassan Firoziadi revealed today his support to the reelection of President Ahmadinejad next June. The General accused as well a group of politicians of holding for a new candidate to eliminate Ahmadinejad, adding: This will never happen and they are wrong.

To note that Ayatollah Khazaali is considered one of the biggest supporters of the current government, however his son Mahdi criticized the Iranian President and the members of his government publicly during the past year.

Iranian reformist writer Azad Mir Rida who tackled this issue on roseonline.com saw that Khazaalis accusation to Najad this time will have big repercussions.

Mahdi Khazaali wrote an article last Sunday titled Jewish in Iran saying: Lately, I heard that Ahmadinejad, who does not hesitate in giving a pious example, has Jewish origins, and that he is from a family of Jewish origins.

Khazaali, the son, relies in his allegation on the notes page in Ahmadinejads identity card that states a change in the family name from Spurjian to Ahmadinejad, and called for the checking of the origins of this family in Aradan region, and added that if this is proven, the authority, revolution and elusiveness circle would be complete.

Nevertheless, Khazaali says that the secretary general of Mutalafa Islami party Askar Awladi Musliman who was close to Khumayni, Ayatollah Mosbah Yazdi close to Ahmadinejad and Mohammad Ali Ramin have Jewish origins as well.

I stopped reading there... He didn't call for Israel to be wiped off the map. That was a misquote that Western media ran with... If they can't get their facts straight in the opening sentence, how am I to believe the rest is accurate?

I hate to point something,  but Iranians don't have to ask for "nationalization application" of their own goverment. Whatever that application is

One thing you need to understand about Iran is that Iran is not a tribal society, which means you will find many people from different provinces from different backgrounds collaborating with the regime. You will also find staunch supporters among the Jewish community.

Our leader is of Azeri origin. Our previous minister of defence was an Iranian Arab from the oil rich province of Khuzestan, a Sunni.

Bottom line is: it doesn't matter what province you come from as long as you are willing to help the regime survive is good enough for the establishment. This makes Iran such a tough cookie as opposed to a regime such as Saddam's that was only really supported by his own tribe.

People sometimes dont really realise how dedicated and warrior-like spirit the Mullahs in Iran have
thats why its hard to kick it out of power but not only that but attacking it is just a big mistake and probally would never happen

Iran landwise is big alot of landscapes alot of Radical people and all armed with equipted ambush like weapons which could be basic but compared to what other militias have pretty advanced(In terms of all kinds of RPGs,all types of recoilless rifles,and god knows how many heavy AA-guns mounted on trucks)
Iranian regime already casted its country in turmoil befor and would even dubble it against any other opponents

What Iranians need to do themselfs is slowly working on their own freedom and let other countries mind their own business

Dont ask American or british help; All they would prefer is Iran living like 3rd worlders anyway but when it got so out of hand and even working on nuclear energy they suddenly shifted their approach on Iran and start acting like they "Cared" For Iranian freedom. BS

Forget the British. They are probably the most hated country and most suspected in Iran.

Americans also ruined their image in Iran in the fifties when they supported a coup encouraged and plotted by the bloody British destroying democracy in Iran the Chilean way. Both countries have proved they couldn't care less about democray.

Iranians would agree with me when I say: Iranian people take a lot of **** from their leaders but when they feel they have had enough, they have had enough. Shah experienced this first hand when he ignored the wishes of the masses. Mullahs seem to be dumb enough not to listen to the will of Iranians and I am sure when they realise it, it would be too late.

I always wish we were different and had a short fuse towards our leaders like the Greek and French have but we are not.
