Let's hope they'll release a pic before that.

9 days left before MAKS 2009.

3 "completed" seems like an exaggeration. More like one complete.

It would also be nice if you could post the text of articles in your threads like everyone else does.

Google translate and yahoo's babelfish can produce decent english versions.

But thanks for the link.

3 Prototype Airframes Built. One is most likely a Static Fatigue Test rig

"When Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visited the Komsomolsk-on-Amur production site in May, Russian air force chief Col. Gen. Alexander Zelin apparently briefed him that the prototype Sukhoi T-50 would be flown in October or November.

This week Zelin appears to remain confident that the prototype of Russias fifth-generation combat aircraft, known as a PAK-FA, will still be flown before the end of the year.

I believe that this year we will certainly take this plane into the air," Zelin is quoted by Russian news agency TASS, August 11.

The Russian air force commander also indicated that three T-50 airframes have already been built though at least one of these is likely a static fatigue test rig.

However interesting to note that the Russian Official is calling it the T-50 which was an earlier Sukhoi Design for the PAK-FA. i thought they had scrapped the T-50 and gone with another Design. Could be wrong.

"T-50" is just a prototype designation. It's like the "YF-22" or "X-35" label in the United States. The prototype for the Su-27 was labeled the T-10, for example.

I'm sure whatever design they come up with has undergone several revisions since the orginal T-50 concept was first proposed. We'll just have to wait for the roll-out ceremony to see what the Russians really have.

Kronic, the T-50 is only used in english sources, in Russia its referred to as PAK-FA or "5th generation fighter".

Should I wait for Santa Claus aswell this year?

No doubt whenever the PAK-FA is releashed it will be much inferior to the F-22. It would be roughly comparable to a EF or Superhornet

Seriously, these russian projects like the PAK-FA and T-95 MBT are probably not near completion, and with these delays, their possible market is getting shorter.
By the way, this is the latest one (unfortunately I don't have authorization to provide this particular link) - Brazil might follow some of India's aquisition plans after the order of 4 scorpène submarines. The next one might be the mig-29K to replace the A-4 skyhawks aboard the São Paulo Aircraft Carrier.

You don't have the authorization to provide a link on the internet, that every one can access anyway !?!?!??!!

ROTFLMAO

& BTW, Mig 29k is a no go for the Brazilian Navy for the very basic fact that Mig 29k goes off via skyjump, as the ex Foch uses catapults.
When Brazil decides to replace the A-4, it will be with something along the SH or Rafale, beeing the last the more propable choice.

This wasnt a delay, I only speculated that it will be at MAKS based on some vague comments on their site. There was no official word that PAK-FA was going to come to MAKS.

See this is why Stalin had to have people excuted for not delivering projects on schedule.

Most people dont expect PAK-FA to actualy fly for atleast two more years but some designer promised the Russian goverment it would happen this year. What were seeing here is the designer probally didnt tell goverment until yesterday that sorry but that promise of flying in 2009 just isnt going to happen.

SeQuBu, not everybody has access to many national armed forces pages, where only military personnel or civilians who work or worked for them have access. You need authorization and your military given password.
What part of this didn't you understand?
