48 Su-35s, 4 Su-30M2 and 12 Su-27SM. That along with the typical extra add-ons will put the contract at around 3 billion dollars. They dont expect to sign any new superjet contracts.

Why Russia has to order these at MAKS?Its their own industry so they can place an order whenever they want.

Also Su-35 will be Russia`s frontline fighter with PAK-FA?They will replace all the Su-27,MiG-29,MiG-31?

Only PAK-FA will be able to replace MIG-31 ... no Su-27 can do that ... besides MIG-31 will go throw modernization and we will se of it for a long time from now ...

Almost all MiG-29 are not air-worthy.Half are totally useless because of corrosion issues.

MiG-31 and the majority of Su-27 have not been upgrated since Soviet times.

If VVS doesn`t start a massive program of upgrates and new purchases in 10 years there won`t be more
than 300-400 airworthy fighters.

So this will bring the number of Su-35's to 60 ?

That's getting to be a decent about of fighters. Why are they still ordering Su-27 and Su-30's ? Just to replace lost air frames ?
