S-band modules also in the works, but not clear for what radar exactly. We are still behind the Americans by about 2-3 years in this stuff, but the gap was almost 10 not long ago.

S-band is mainly for naval purposes. If you havent noticed Russia has never been much of a naval power. S-band was never a priority.
We have a 1524 module AESA so you can throw numbers like 10 years out all you like, but a 1500 element AESA coupled with L-band radars in the wings basically nullifies the F-35's stealth advantage. The F-35 has X-band stealth, but these L-band emitters will see it out to 50-60km's like they will any other air frame or missile. There is no true L-band stealth.
The Su-35 has a kinematics advantage over the F-35 and with a 1 sq meter RCS is itself plenty stealthy.
There were also 2 new jammers unveiled at MAKS one of which in testing was so powerful it blinded the Zaslon radar of the MiG-31 to the point where the MiG-31 couldnt see a Su-27 that was less than 10km's away. Zaslon is the most powerful PESA antenna flying after IRBIS. Only IRBIS is more powerful. For obvious reasons they wouldnt brag about jamming IRBIS but the implication is clear -- we can jam any fighter radar flying today no matter its power output. Everything about the Su-35 is supposed to make an F-35 killer before the PAK-FA even arrives.

A DB-37 connector and a Thicknet port! I haven't seen either of those since 1990. What do they use it for?
What does the X2 BYA (closest approximation to the Cyrillic characters I can manage with my keyboard) and X5 BYA stand for? It also looks like mid to late-90s surface mount boards...does someone have a link to the original document? Interestingly the one company has a data comm product line.

There is also a Kh-35UE, the engine size has been halfed and the freed up space was used for extra fuel. The new missile flies longer and faster along with a reworked guidance system,
