I think that heli is actually flying again, the damage must have been minimal.

Anyway it proves the design is very strong and survivable, remember the Austrailan Tiger and its high-speed crash... Sh!t happens.

Good God. Hell must have frozen over and unicorns must be real...........I kinda agree with the Frenchman here.

Watched the video......obviously a bad rocket......but I can't see that being enough to choke a motor to the point of serious power loss and thus a crash ?. We see choppers flying in/out/around wildfires all of the time with more smoke and flying debris without those kinds of results.

You have to be careful with smoke and jet engines (gas turbines) in Jet's it's a known problem that they can flameout if they suck in too much exhaust fumes. A helicopter loosign engine thrust is always in a bigger problem then an aircraft with this.
This was much bigger back in the day when fighters had 4x 30mm cannons in the nose and fired rockets both at aircraft and ground targets.

This video is of too poor quality to know much more than the huge amount of smoke there have been and yes i wonder why both engines can flame out at the same time, no filters???
