As we are all aware with any rumour or gossip mill that runs the international news agencies, but can anybody tell me through MAKS news or blogs or other links the continuing purchase of Syria of a back-door purchase for MiG-31s, MiG-29s for $1 billion??

I think the MiG-31 deal was canceled because Syrians had no money.The best Syrians have is MiG-29SMT.

Yeah,.....no Mig-31's, just converting some Syrian Mig-29's to the SMT standard, but no new-builds Fulcrums I believe........
