damnnn...can't believe Chechnian so fvcking tough warrior ...Russia need to use all high tech equipment .....plus heavy weapons....
These pic's probably have nothing to do with Chechnya. Just a military training. All the danger these day's is more located in Dagestan though. BBC has named it the most dangerous place in Europe. Daily fire fights between the local police and Islamic rebels. Daily bombing. Security is always on alert. Certainly a situation the Russians can't control. It's all because of Russian intension to make Dagestan something similar to Stavropol. To Russianfy the entire region. That might have worked dealing with sh!tbanians,Turks or bosnians but not these people. Kremlin is scratching his head over there lol. They will never get this one.

"...also I never realized Orthodox Christians recognized St. Nicholas."
Of course we do. In the Greek Orthodox Church, St. Nicholas is the Protector of the Naval forces and all sailors, military or commercial. All ships have pictures of him inside. In Russia he is the Protector of tanks?
On our tanks, we have the picture of St. George, who is the general Protector of our armed forces
