Some dictators have to rule by fear in order to keep his country going! If Assad allowed the rebels to go out on the street and protest in a peaceful manner, it's inevitable that in time that protest will grow into a movement, then into a revolution, so on.

Do you really think Gadaffi would have failed if the Allies hadn't supported the rebel scum ? But Libya is and was weaker than Syria which is why UN attacked Libya because they could afford it but thankfully the scum traitor rebels in Syria have no back-up HAHAHAHAHAHAAH!

The war in Syria is partly between allawite shias ( yes a peculier form if shia they celebrate christmas for example )who are in charge and other minorities against the majority sunnis.


In some other arab countries the sitution is reversed with small numers of shias fighting the sunnis who rule although the sunni is in majority except in Bahrain where 61.3 % are shia. In Yemen it is quite close with 46.9 being shias. In Saudi Arabia only 3.3 % are shias but they do tend to have a lot of children so demographicly they may increase in the arab world in the future if not the arab states expell them in an undemocratiq fashion.

Swoop, so how can you exclude the other possibility??

Exactly what I am trying to say. You always see one side of the story presented by PR agencies or payed media.
When you see a sniper or a recon in a house or mosque you will take him down by any mean. Remeber when Croats destroyed beautifull bridge in Mostar. They say muslims used it for troop movements.
