They told you wrong. Malvinas is the legal name. Rapers, robbers, cheaters, pirates use that name for that piece of land that historically belong to Argentina.

It is misspelled.. it should say Malvinas, their legal name...
Argentina has no right to the Falklands, but, Britain could consider leaving the Falklands as part of a world decolonisation programme of the Americas. But if Britain is to leave, then the other countries must join us in that. The Argentines for example, came to Argentina, massacred the native population, and then colonised it. If all of the those populations would also like to leave the lands to remaining natives, then we too shall leave the Falklands to their original uninhabited state! Somehow I don't think the other countries of the Americas, nor the Argentines themselves, would be willing to take part in such a programme. So why should decolonisation only apply to the British, hypocritical Argies? It only makes sense in the world of Argentine propaganda
We could offer a referendum, but there wouldn't be much point based on the referendum we gave to Gibraltar (a British territory next to Spain). The result there was:
"Do you approve of the principle that Britain and Spain should share sovereignty over Gibraltar?"

Did I mention the Islands are still British. That means the aren't part of Argentina. And Argentina lost. They surrendered. Just saying

Well, as you know, war does not give rights... as UN promotes. That is to say: bullies are not allowed in modern times... War does not give rights. That's why UN promotes a decolonization comitee. UK is just drunk bullies, nothing else.

Exactly, and that's another reason why Argentina isn't entitled to the islands, they are warmongering bullies, attacking our innocent islanders! Argentina was real tough massacring it's own civilians, invading the lightly defended, peace loving Falklands and mistreating the residents, until a British military force far smaller in number arrived at which point the Argies surrendered in humiliation.
If Argentina was so confident it would go to an international court, it won't, because it has no valid claim. It wants negotiations only, because it can't win in a court and it got it *** kicked in a war even with vast numerical superiority, and the advantages of proximity and surprise. This means that the British government can quite happily continue it's current stance of refusing, which it is doing

That picture shows the impact of a Brit missile on a house in Ross Road... that British missile caused the only three death of civilan islanders in the whole conflict. Argentine troops did not caused any injures whatsover to civilian population, contrary to British troops anytime they face foreign population. SoaB!
And, being coherent with your words... if they are YOUR islanders, they are not a separate population from your own population. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE SELF DETERMINATION RIGHTS as they proclaim. If they are yours, they must be relocated where they belong. I will help to that purpose anytime you need.
