Seen in display photos. Pretty sure this is the first time they showed a real working example to the public.

Nice gun. I must give my Chinese friends credit, they come up with these new innovations in warfare. It's no wonder China is the world's leading superpower. I sure wish the US could come up with these sorts of inventions. I suppose it's just another demonstration of Chinese superiority.

Why does the UAV chopper have a US flag on it?

I realize it says the photo has been modded but the question stands.

Chinese don't need to innovate, they can just merely copy whatever whities produce. Any objection to such is merely countered as evil whitie imperialists trying to prevent China from reaching its rightful place in the world. lol

"Why does the UAV chopper have a US flag on it?

because it's designed by an american

"At the Aviation Expo/China 2011 last September in Beijing, Fetters told Flightglobal the aircraft has an endurance of up to 2.6 hours at its cruising speed of 177kmh. Fetters said the aircraft was designed to monitor power-lines, but SVU200 promotional material depicts it equipped with 18 rocket tubes and a chin-mounted electro optical/infra-red sensor. Sunward said the SVU200 has a maximum useful load of 244kg. Fetters is a freelance American UAS designer who resides in China."

Provost has been a long-standing China hater so nothing new really....Even though China is not very innovative, at least we are not technically bankrupt....lol

Where's that get you? What exactly did I say, Hawks, that was hateful to the Chineses? That they copy innovation by others? I mean that's not exactly news.

-It makes little difference if it's true or not. Chinese on this forum have been some of the biggest thin skinned people I've probably ever met.. the minute you say anything about them in a negative light, you're branded. Welcome to the family big guy! wink.gif

I must admit.. this is pretty innovative. It needs seating for 2 though. One driver and one gunner, which also adds that extra man in case someone falls off lol..

I think the stuff on the wheels is to make so that one can drive it on water... looking at the pictures behind the vehicle...
