Simple Question in headline, thoughts?

Assad wins - He appeases them but won't have enough $$ to throw at them really.

Assad loses - Islamic extremists fully support Hezbollah and create further integration of Syria assets and Hezbollah forces. Hezbollah becomes much stronger.

I think you should rethink about it.
Lebanese Hezbollah supports Assad and they are shia. Even though they use religion for extra motivation in wars, they are not fanatics like sunni extremists, most shia women in lebanon are even not covered.
Islamic extremists who fight against Assad are sunni, for those ppl shia is heretic and must be cleansed.

IMO

Hezbollah will certainly loose its primary supply route from its creators in Iran thus leaving it isloated in a sea of sunni.

Because of the great shia-sunni divide, hizbo will not function well when going up against the sunni majority and the Muslim Brotherhood in particular.

Syria is ruled by a minority Alwite,an obscure offshoot of Shia muslims, over a vast majority of sunni. Hizbonheads are simply a proxy branch of the Iranian military.

See Hizboneheads problem yet? Their main purpose in life is to fight Irans wars for them.
