Weak Schedule My Foot!!

I read an article by Michael Hunt on JS Online saying that the Packers could go 13-3 due to a weak schedule and that the Texans on the road could be one of their biggest challenges, and a potential super bowl opponent. As for 13-3, I guess that is a possibility, but I will not count my chickens about this team winning more than 10 or 11 games this year until I see that they can do a more effective job of rushing the passer.

And, I do not think they have an easy schedule by any stretch of the imagination. I believe that if you base the strength of schedule off of last year's records that this is failed logic...teams can go from worst to first in this league, and even a team like Seattle could end up giving the Packers quite a challenge on the road this year at their super-loud stadium.

Right now, due to offensive strength and defensive potential, I will predict a 10-6 or 11-5 season for the Packers...that might be good enough to win the division, but it definitely gets them a wild card, and if the defense consistently gets better throughout the year then I believe they do have a shot at getting back to the big dance.

And again - how the heck is this an EASY schedule???
