Mrs. Mtnman and my younger son were at the grocery store today and had a nice Packers experience. Here it is, cut&pasted from her message to me:
"David and I just finished grocery shopping. While I was in the checkout line, I looked over in the line next to us and saw a man wearing a Packers shirt so I told David to turn and show his Packers shirt. We started chatting and turns out he has season tickets that have been in his family for about 3 generations. Then the lady in front of me in line said, "Matt Flynn is my cousin" which started another conversation there. She said that she will have to start keeping up with the Seahawks now. Is there some secret unwritten rule that backup quarterbacks that played for the Packers have to then go to Seattle?"
We live about 1300 miles from Green Bay, but Packers fans are everywhere.
I got into a lot of discussions with viking and Bear fans in Florida and it was always 100% respectful and cordial. Of course I would run into many Packer fans around Orlando but strangely enough never got into any real discussions...it was just the "Go Pack" brief encounters
