hi everybody - i am looking for some advice. i currently live in NYC (do NOT want to stay there forever) and my partner is potentially being relocated to santa fe - i am just starting my career as a singer (young artist phase) and am wondering what the community is like in SF year-round. is there anyone on this forum who lives there? if so, what kind of opportunities are there in that part of the country for classical singers? i know as a singer hopefully one travels a lot; but i'm not old or established enough yet to be at that point. is it career suicide to move to a small southwestern city with only a summer-long opera company? any advice would be appreciated
