Moving to Atlanta!!! YAY!!!

After a long time looking at places to go, I've finally decided to get my butt out of where I'm currently located and to head to Atlanta. I already have a teacher, but I'm just looking for some practical advice at this point, in addition to coach recommendations. Where is a good place to look for an apartment? I'm trying to move close to the center of town, somewhere in or around downtown Atlanta. Also, I've worked in churches for forever, so I'm seeking a church job, too. Lyric Mezzo, Masters in Performance, and I have a resume and recommendations if you need it. If anyone has useful info, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks,
TM

As far as places to live...

I'm from the suburbs of Atlanta and my sister currently lives downtown in Grant Park. If you want details about different areas of downtown, I could put you in touch with her, and I'm sure she'd be happy to help you. Email me at racoolness at yahoo if you like. happy.gif

I worked with him on two scenes at Colorado College Vocal Arts Symposium--Summer and Smoke and Marriage of Figaro. Brilliant guy, and one of the nicest people.
