Go to the Airline History site. Go there and just pick a nation, an era, a type of airliner etc and you will be overwelmed with just wonderful stuff. I went over there looking for interior shots of the Lancastrian. I found all I ever wanted to know about the Lancastrian but no interiors.

Oops, sorry about that. However now that I think of it, it may have been you who suggested I go to this site.

Anyway, here is the address:

www.airlinehistory.co.za

Home page will say enter...when you enter go to the left hand side of the screen for the index and select what ever subject you want.

Thanks Doug, I'll try it.

Incidentally, it wasn't me who put you onto this web site and where is "za?" Zambia, Zimbabwe?

I tried to log into the page but got an "invalid URL" message.
Any suggestions or has anyone found another path?

Try these:

http://airlines.afriqonline.com/

http://airlines.afriqonline.com/topmenu/about.html

www.airline-history.co.za

www.airlines.freeuk.com

or, just punch up: airline history

Lancastrian interior shot

There's a photo "down the aisle" of a TCA Lancastian on pp 13 of the Larry Milberry book "The Canadair North Star"... looking like an overstuffed biz-jet cabin with smokey-suited old men in heavy business suits..
Now, find me a '54 TCA timetable, somebody!
