I recently acquired a signed print of a plane taking off from a battleship..The print says "Eugene Ely taking off from the U.S.S. Pennsylvania at San Francisco, California, January 18th, 1911 by John T. McCoy Jr." It is signed by Mr. McCoy. It looks to be a copy of an original watercolor. At the very top of the piece in smaller letters is also says "Published in 1958 by John T. McCoy Jr. of New York, U.S.A and Frost and Reed Ltd, Bristol and London, England. Copyright on all countries including U.S.A. (printed in England)" If anyone has ANY information on this piece...or perhaps could point me in the right direction...I would be very grateful! Thank you so much for your time!!!
