Caribous (Union Air?)

A few years ago I saw regular flights of Caribous in the SFO area. I think they were operated by a company called Union Air or something similar. I believe they were flying Fedex type cargo from Sacramento to the SF Bay Area. What happeded to this operation and in particular to the wonderful Caribou aircraft? Sure miss seeing and hearing them.

The company was Union Flights (code UNF), based at Sacramento downtown. In 1995 they had the follwing Caribous: N544Y, N5463, N700NC, N800NC, N900NC and N9984. Don't know when they stopped but you might be able to trace the aircraft from the site posted above. The first two are still registered (to the bank) and I believe the rest ended up in Africa.
