L1049 Maintenance Manual on CD January 31 2003 at 3:30 PM		Herb Bain

To all, My friend Mark at Aviodome is looking for a maintenance manual for an L1049 Connie for some friends of his in France that are restoring one for static display. We of course have it in book form at AHM, and use it too much to take it off line long enough to copy it all to CD. Personal time for that project is lacking, too. I only see a manual of the C121, available as a pdf-file. I have no idea how the quality of this PDF is and if it is what there looking for...

They could probably make one of these work, and I will send the link to him, but I think they're looking for a donation. They're asking some fair bucks for some of these. Rebuilding these things, as you know, leads to serious capital depletion. Thanks very much, anyway, all help is appreciated, and as always, you provide much information.

Hi

I'm also very interested in Super Constellation manuals. At the moment I've a handbook that my girlfriend and me typed in a Word-file. We did this for our group, Super Constellation Flyers. Unfortunately this document is not completed and we're looking for the lost parts.

If someone knows more Super Connie manuals which are available as a data-file I'd also be very interested.

I would recommend to contact John Fischer under
fish@ccis.com who could possibly supply your friends
with an ordinary copy of the manual, not on CD though.

If someone comes across an ORIGINAL L 1049 G Maintenance Manual in book form we would also be interested in buying one.
