I've been working on the new discussion page options and I have to say the new site will have a TON of new and improved features! I'm racking my brains getting it all setup, but hope to have the site live this weekend. One feature that a lot of you are going to like is the ability to upload your photo files directly to the site and display them. This should be a much better solution to the old method of providing a link. Another feature is "Avatars", which allows you to use a picture of yourself or favorite airliner to appear next to your name when posting. There's many other improvements. I think the best improvement will be the ability to export all threads when new discussion page software is released, or if I switch the site to a new server. This means I won't have to keep starting over from scratch and deleting the archived threads posted on the board. I hope this will be the last time, and hope we can finally start to collect a lengthy information base.

The new board will be divided into additional subtopic areas as listed below. I hope this will attract more people to the site and help keep things organized. You'll notice that I've added a subtopic section for "Turbo-Propliners" and feel it's time to include their discussion here. The "Collector's Corner", "The Old Hangar Pub", and the "Vintage Flight Simulation" sub forums should also bring in some new people. Let me know what you think!

General Discussion - Anything related to aviation that doesn't fit the other categories.

Vintage Flight Simulation - An area dedicated to fans of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
