Surely you can't be serious! There are many, many reasons that children should not be subjected to sexuality. Many psychologists have writen books on the subject and countless people have received a lifetime of therapy for being subjected to sexuality at too young of an age.
The world's population is riddled with now grown adults who were subjected to sexuality when their little minds were not old enough to process it. These victims now host a wide range of psychological symptoms ranging from disassociative disorders to full-blown psychological problems.
While it is true that most European countries are far more lax with reagrds to nudity in everyday instances, it is well-known throughout the world that children should never, ever be subjected to scenes or pictures of sexual acts....period. Doesn't matter whether the scenes be lesbian or heterosexual. Young children (of which an 8 year old qualifies) should never be exposed to this.
It should be a crime to allow a youngster to view such graphic scenes of lovemaking that appear in Mulholland Drive or any other R-rated movie. The same goes for violence.
When we desensitize our children to sex and sexuality what is left for them to see as sacred when they grow up? |
