      Sorry my english is bad perhaps i just a russian woman who falls in love with this film again and again even if it brings pain or sorrow and make me feel so sad..Its a magic beautiful strange enigmatic movie.. I think maybe some part or even general idea of this film can consist of principle of American life (and maybe homo sapiens also..but mostly i feel it like American style ) These are ILLUSION,DREAM,POWER,LIE..some parallel with it.. no true love, no exit, no escape .. everything is illusion, but reality is always more awful..Hollywood is a great symbol of the great dream, but life in movie can be a big lie..its a borderline between fantastic invented world and real world.. I think author of MD is really genius, he found a plenty of ways and details to show us the Real Art..More than words..
